paintings

here are some of my better figure paintings from this semester, plus the first illustration assignment we did this year. We had to illustrate what we did over the summer- obviously not much happened lol. The two figure paintings are 6 hour poses.

new stuff

Yes it's been forever. These are master copy assignments we have to do in painting class. Two copies in our sketchbooks each week, whatever medium we prefer. I have some figure paintings that are drying and I'll scan them in later. Two baroque scupltures, a Diebercorn painting, and a Degas in oil rub. Probably shouldn't have use burnt sienna for that one, the coloring is off.

moar

more stuff. The cloth studies are 20 minutes each I think. So far the only decent figure paintings are the portrait below and another one that I'm allowing to dry before I scan it in. I still have a long ways to go!

figure portfolio

here are some of the images Im turning in for my class' portfolio at the end of the semester. Some of these I like, others I don't like so much, but I'm putting them up anyways.

Now that I think about it I believe the modern poster is an earlier version than the one I turned in, but whatever you get the idea.

crappy stuff

Okay so here's my totally not-awesome graphic design stuff. I might post some more totally not-awesome stuff later, but I can only handle so much crappiness at one time.

We had to do a Stenberg-influenced poster for a mock exhibition at the MOMA, and a more modern and contemporary one as well. I thought emoticons plus Helvetica would be modern, but hell what do I know.
